We are thrilled to present AstraZeneca Balkans Early Talent Programs, an exceptional learning and professional growth opportunities for aspiring individuals in the pharmaceutical industry.

Building on the incredible success of the Early Talent programs in the past two years, which exceeded our expectations and garnered positive feedback from both – the participants and their mentors, we are committed to making this year's experience even more enriching and impactful!

In the last two years we have successfully onboarded 42 interns and 11 trainees since 2023, who were part of various projects and initiatives across the Balkans Cluster. So, we are now launching both programs, AstraZeneca Balkans Internship and CEEBA Leadership Trainee, at the same time and looking forward to meeting the new generation of interns and trainees!

Programs Overview

AstraZeneca Balkans Internship Program

Duration: 2 days of learning program, followed by 12 months internship in various departments in AstraZeneca Balkans Cluster

Starting: October 2026.

Location: One of the AstraZeneca offices in Sofia, Belgrade, Zagreb and Ljubljana

Eligibility: Last year of studies

Disciplines: preferably Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry or Veterinary

Reward: Paid internship

CEEBA Leadership Trainee Program

Duration: 2 years accelerated leadership development opportunity

Starting: October 2026.

Location: One of the AstraZeneca offices in Sofia, Belgrade, Zagreb and Ljubljana

Eligibility: Up to 3 years of professional experience in marketing, sales, medical or market access teams (preferable in pharmaceutical industry). International experience would be a plus

Disciplines: Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry or Veterinary

Reward: Full-time employment, job rotations between commercial, medical and market access departments
